FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 10, 2020
Philadelphia, PA (August 20, 2020) – Given the unprecedented times we live in, the CannAtlantic Conference will shift to a virtual gathering on Sept. 26, 2020.
The conference will be free, with suggested donations to support Black media, to encourage as many participants to join. Any tickets purchased for the April 4 and 5 conference will be refunded for the Sept. 26 date.
The decision follows the ongoing global pandemic that continues to inhibit large gatherings and destroy the financial safety nets of many small businesses and individual entrepreneurs .
The virtual conference will adjust itself slightly in programming and will truncate from two days to one day. The core focus on the state of the state reports will remain intact. Programming involving social equity programs, organizing and mobilizing, the state of medical marijuana and fundraising alternatives will also be offered as part of the program.
The CannAtlantic Conference is happening. We look forward to seeing everyone in September for this historic event. Hop onboard.
